Diet therapy, our way
To design your diet, we first review your personal circumstances, preferences, allergies, medical history and the medications you take. Then, based on your eating habits, work situation and your information, we set up your diet. Your plan offers choice and variety in foods to suit your taste. The plan can be followed at parties and while traveling without those around you noticing. Going hungry is forbidden in our meal plans. You don't need to eat special foods or follow a special exercise routine during the program, although regular physical activity will certainly help improve body composition. Throughout the program we stay in touch with you, answer your questions, and accompany you until your weight is stabilized.
Willpower to stick to your diet:
When you are motivated on the path of diet therapy, the willpower to follow through will come with it. Motivation springs from your goal for following the diet. The longer-term your goals are, the more valuable they are to you, and the more you strengthen your willpower to pursue them. In the end, you will work with determination to keep what you have achieved through effort.
Guarantee of reaching your ideal weight or improving and treating disease
Let's be honest with ourselves: everyone's results are in proportion to their effort. For that effort you need the right path and enough motivation, so that obstacles such as our own thoughts don't stand in the way. On this path we help you with sound, principled methods.
Following a meal plan is like learning to drive. Imagine you don't have a driving licence and have long wanted to learn. Whenever you got in a car you watched the driver's explanations and actions closely, to the point that you feel you could drive with full mastery yourself. But you never sit behind the wheel, because you have had many concerns and no time for it so far. Your driving would not be satisfactory. So to gain any skill, practice and perseverance are what give your learning meaning.
Many factors, some conscious and some unconscious, can influence what we eat and how active we are. The challenge is how to motivate ourselves to change our behavior, for the sake of better nutrition and health, in a way that lasts over the long term.
So fight the mind's excuses for putting off starting your diet.
The mind's excuses for postponing diet therapy:
- Let things quiet down a bit so I'll have time for a diet (oh come on, do you skip eating just because you're busy right now?)
- I'm just not someone who loses weight; my body has become resistant
- I doubt it will work for me
- I have so many troubles that a diet gets lost among them
- Nothing helps me anymore, I've done whatever anyone told me.
- And so on…
It's best to counter these excuses as early as possible and not let them defeat you. Our brain's mechanism always picks the easier option, so that we don't leave our comfort zone and are not forced to change. But when you start correcting your lifestyle and eating patterns with the Rezaee Diet team, you will see for yourself that, contrary to your first mental image, this path is very easy and enjoyable.
Dietary restrictions
Forget strict, restrictive diets that leave you tired and discouraged. With us you can experience a principled meal plan suited to your own circumstances.
The importance of portion sizes in your diet
Portion size determines the calories you take in, but calories are only one component of your diet. So don't burden yourself with weighing food in grams on a scale; over time this makes you anxious and demotivated. Keeping portions balanced using simple measures such as the palm of your hand, a plate and a matchbox is reasonable.
Side effects of wrong weight-loss diets
Today many kinds of weight-loss diets are offered by profit-seeking and unprofessional people, and they not only have no scientific basis but harm your health. Diets that cause rapid weight loss bring many complications, and make even long-term undereating backfire. A principled meal plan not only has no side effects; by balancing your diet it helps you prevent unwanted effects such as weakness, constipation, hair loss, sagging skin and more, which follow wrong weight-loss diets.
Consequences of abandoning your diet:
Healthy eating and diet concern everyone, because there is no living person who doesn't eat! However busy we are, we can't forget to eat. So instead of talking about half-abandoning a diet, we should ask: what happens if we give up having a plan for eating at all?!
The idea that following a diet is hard for us, and that our ability to follow it will fade over time, belongs to wrong diets that clash with our life circumstances. Our diet-therapy programs are personalized to each person's life, so continuing them for life is possible and they become everyday habits. This is exactly what helps your ideal weight stay stable for good.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a diet?
Every living being needs food to grow and to live a quality life free of disease. A diet is the set of foods we eat and the eating behaviors related to them. Over the long term, the effect foods have on our bodies can shape our health, so whatever good or bad eating habits we have, we understand their effect on our bodies better as we age.
A diet is not necessarily about changing weight. Sometimes setting up a principled meal plan helps us live a higher-quality life: getting tired later, sleeping better, having a stronger memory, having fresher skin and hair, feeling more confident in company, and so on.
How many kilos will I lose each week? How long will it take to reach my ideal weight?
The healthy amount of weight loss per week depends on how much excess weight you have: the more excess weight, the larger the normal rate of loss. In addition, many factors, including diseases, body metabolism, physical activity level, stress and more, can affect the weight-loss process. So to judge your progress, instead of looking at the number on the scale at the end of each week or month, always consider a longer time span. The number on the scale is not your only measure of success in weight loss.
